It is your first day as a cashier at the drive through window of a fast food restaurant. A customer tells you his order over the speaker and you enter it into the cash register. The cash register shows that the total amount of the order is $6.12. When the customer drives up to the window, you tell him the total amount and he hands you a ten dollar bill. You key the amount of 10.00 into the register and you press the enter key. Then suddenly the customer says: “Wait, I think I have some change!” He hands you a one-dollar bill and 25 cents. How much do you owe back to the customer?
